'NGALUWI' BANDED KELP SHELL EARRINGS - ARRIVING DEC
This variant is currently sold out.
The 'Ngaluwi' shell drop earrings have been co-designed with Worimi artist Krystal Hurst for the MAARA Collective X Gillawarra Arts exclusive jewellery collaboration 'Land Meets Sea.'
Ngaluwi means 'waves' in Gathung (the language of the Worimi people). The coastline is a special place for Saltwater people. It is a place to collect food, eat and pay respects to our Ancestors.
These intricate earrings combine hand collected banded kelp shells with classic freshwater pearls to create delicate pieces that invoke imagery of our sacred shores.
