The 'Bana' hoop earrings have been co-designed with Worimi artist Krystal Hurst for the MAARA Collective X Gillawarra Arts exclusive jewellery collaboration 'Land Meets Sea.'
Bana Story
'Bana' in Gathang language means beach, singing life into the place where we collected these delicate banded kelp shells.
The banded kelp shells are combined with freshwater pearls, strung onto a hand-shaped sterling silver circle reminiscent of the full moon. Bana and the full moon are as one, brought together by the endless movement of the tides.
